How Uterine Cancer is Diagnosed and Treated

Blood and urine tests are a part of diagnosis

Pap smear. Cells are collected from the cervix and upper vagina. A pathologist will check the cells if there are signs for Uterine cancer.

Transvaginal ultrasound. A receiver insertedin the vagina to examine the uterus, ovaries and vagina by ultrasound. If the abnormality is found in the uterus looks like if it has thickened, you may have to go to the next step, Biopsy

Biopsy. A sample tissue from the uterus is taken which will be carefully examined by the Pathologists.
